Price Adjustments 2025
Applebox Designs is dedicated to maintaining a fair and affordable rate to keep your website online. I understand first-hand how difficult it is to run a small business in our current economy, and as a result of this I have been reluctant to update my pricing over the years (I have not fully adjusted the pricing for my services since 2016).
I hope I have your understanding that, in order for me to continue providing the service(s) that I do, I have had to streamline and adjust my prices going forward for 2025. I have also taken on board feedback from my clients over the years and compared my services to my competitors, and I believe this restructure will enable me to provide a bigger and better range of services to you and your business.
To detail what has changed and improved, I have created a comparison table below. Please do contact me if you have any questions at all about your contract, or if you would like to upgrade your website in any way.

| Free custom domain name | Domain name(s) used to be billed separately. I have now absorbed the cost of a domain name into overall website. Additional domain names will be charged at an annually renewing fee of £20 per domain name. | |||
| SSL certificate | In 2023 Google announced it would no longer rank websites without SSL Certificates as it vastly decreases the security of your website. Therefore, from 2025 onwards I will be including an SSL Certificate with each website as standard. These used to be charged at an annual fee of £30. | |||
| Personalised email address | Your website project will come with one free email address (eg: hello@) but if you require more, this will be charged as an additional annually renewable fee (£10 per email). | |||
| Content hosting | Possibly the biggest change in my service provision. I will now no longer be charging seperately for the amount of hosting needed for your website. This will allow you freedom to update without worrying about additional hosting charges. | |||
| Content maintenance | As part of my ongoing mission to provide updates to your website as and when you need them, I have slightly increased my maintenance fee per year. |
